ACUVUE OASYS Brand Contact Lenses are available by prescription only for vision correction for daily wear (worn while awake) or extended wear (worn while awake and asleep for up to 6 nights/7 days) . An eye doctor will determine whether contact lenses are right for you. Serious eye problems, including a sore or lesion on the cornea (i.e. corneal ulcers) can develop rapidly while wearing contact lenses and, in rare cases, lead to loss of vision. The risk of serious problems is greater if you sleep in your lenses and/or smoke. To help avoid problems, follow the wear and replacement schedule and the lens care instructions provided by your eye doctor. Do not wear contact lenses if you have an eye infection, eye disease, inflammation, systemic disease that may be affected by or impact lens wear, severe dry eye, certain allergic conditions, use certain medications (ex. some eye medications) , experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, redness, reduced corneal sensitivity or other eye problems.
