It earned its place in the heart of football fans across America: the 1978 Cotton Bowl between Notre Dame and the University of Texas Longhorns. Undefeated for the entire season, Texas walked onto the field as the top team in the nation, led by Earl Campbell, winner of The Heisman Trophy. That game is now available for collectors in this home release, 1978 Cotton Bowl: Notre Dame vs. Texas - a release that includes a nine-minute, pre-game broadcast by Don Criqui and an up-close, post-game interview with Notre Dame coach Dan Devine concluding the program.
